When environmental standards for sealants changed, we found that the newly formulated, environmentally safer products were not adhering to many paint coatings. In response to this, we began waterproofing and caulking to protect the quality of our paint job. Since then, R. Brothers, Inc. has become an expert in all aspects of interior and exterior waterproofing. This includes sheet membrane applications, coatings, air barriers and all aspects of remedial waterproofing as well as waterproofing for foundations above and below grade. We can apply intumescent coatings for steel and wood surfaces. Traffic Deck Coating System This is a cold applied Traffic Deck Coating System designed for waterproofing concrete slabs and protecting occupied areas underneath from water damage. Additionally, the System will protect the concrete from damaging effects of water, deicing salts, chemicals, gasoline, oils, and antifreeze.

Fluid-Applied Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Membrane This is an example of a Fluid-Applied Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Membrane which is a monolithic elastomeric membrane designed to be applied to exterior above-grade walls to seal wall assemblies and prevent air infiltration/exfiltration, while remaining permeable to the passage of water vapor.
